Small Acts, Big Ripples: The Joy of Giving

The Power of Giving: Small Acts, Big Ripples

Life can get so busy, but taking a moment to give—even something small—can make a world of difference. Giving isn't just about what we give; it's about the connection, joy, and love that comes with it.

Sharing Joy Through Giving

Recently, I had the fun of making a handmade gift for a local coffee shop’s grand opening. With my laser crafting, I designed a penny jar with a lid engraved with their logo. Then I added two hand-painted lids—one with “Rise & Grind” to match the coffee theme and one with a dog paw motif inspired by their social media posts about dog cozies. The manager’s reaction warmed my heart, reminding me why I love creating unique, personal gifts.

I also craft small, personalized baptism crosses, which are always a hit. People often ask why I make them, and for me, it’s simple: It’s a way to spread love and welcome people into the church family. These tiny tokens carry big meaning.

A Ripple Effect

Generosity spreads. A single gift or act of kindness can inspire others to do the same, starting a ripple effect that reaches farther than we know. Whether it’s giving someone a smile, sharing time, or crafting something special, every act makes an impact.

It’s Not About the Size

Sometimes the best gifts aren’t material. A kind word, a helping hand, or just showing up for someone can mean the most. It’s about the thought and care behind it all.

Keep It Going

If there’s one thing giving teaches us, it’s that it doesn’t take much to brighten someone’s day. Look around—there’s always a chance to share a little love and spark some joy. Let’s keep the ripple going.

In joy, Ginny
